Excellent cloth filters for Yama siphon coffee brewer.
I boil the filter before using the first time.
The filter is placed flat on the metal assembly according to instructions on package. The assembly is turned upside down to then pull both ends of the string to tighten and keep the filter firmly in place. After each brew the chamber with the grounds is turned upside down to dump the loose grounds into a compost or trash. The bamboo stirrer is used to scrape remaining grounds off the filter and then the power sprayer on the faucet cleans the remaining grounds off the filter.
The filter stays firmly on the assembly and can be used for several months.

Love these filters! If you use vinegar and water to clean them every couple of days and let them air dry they last a very long time. You could also use OxiClean. Either way they are a great product and you don't have to use paper filters.
